All items will be shipped FOB Gladbrook or Minneapolis.

Within 30 days of receiving your order, you many return, in its original carton, any regular stocked item for a full refund or exchange. Special orders may be returned within 30 days of receipt, but are subject to a 20% restocking charge or the manufacturers actual restocking charge, should that exceed 20%. No items that have been used, custom manufactured or made to order may be returned.

The cost of shipping the original item, return shipment, and the cost of shipping an exchanged item, are the responsibility of the customer, in all cases except where DeWitt Refrigeration committed a shipping or order error.

No item can be returned without prior written authorization. Items returned to DeWitt Refrigeration without authorization will not be processed. To request a return authorization, contact DeWitt Refrigeration by phone at 1-641-473-3232.

Orders Damaged in Shipping

While every effort is made in packing and correctly filling your order, occasions will arise where a package is lost or damaged in transit. To insure your order is received complete and undamaged, we recommend the following:

1. Inspect the entire shipment for visible damage prior to accepting the shipment, and note any damage on the delivery ticket/bill of lading before the delivery person leaves.
2. Verify the number of packages delivered with the packing slip provided by DeWitt Refrigeration.
3. Unpack your order immediately and inspect for hidden or concealed damage.
4. Should any damage be discovered, retain the shipping carton and any inner packaging, request inspection immediately from the carrier as well as make a written request to the carrier. Hidden or concealed damage must be reported and an inspection requested within 5 days of delivery.

Then contact DeWitt Refrigeration @1-641-473-3232 to inform us of the situation. Please have your order number, shipping information and tracking number ready to assist us in this process.

Do not attempt to return any item to DeWitt Refrigeration without a prior written authorization. Unauthorized returns cannot be processed.

DeWitt Refrigeration is not responsible for damaged items accepted and signed for at the time of delivery. DeWitt Refrigeration will pay for return shipping to our distribution center for an item that was sent to you in error, received defective, or was damaged in shipping (assuming the damaged product falls under the aforementioned criteria in the paragraph above).

Returning Items to DeWitt Refrigeration:

If you are not fully satisfied with your DeWitt Refrigeration purchase, return it to DeWitt Refrigeration with the original DeWitt Refrigeration packing receipt, in the original carton, within 30 days from the date of purchase. We will exchange it, get it repaired, or offer you a refund based on your method of payment. Shipping charges will not be refunded.
